In an extraordinary display of culinary prowess, Dorcus Bashema Kirabo, affectionately known as Mama D, has embarked on a relentless 90-hour cooking marathon in Kira, Wakiso District.

Her goal? To shatter the existing Guinness World Record for the longest continuous cooking session.

This remarkable feat has not gone unnoticed, as both corporate entities and government agencies rally behind Mama D's ambitious venture.

Lily Ajarova, CEO of the Uganda Tourism Board, expressed enthusiasm, stating,"Her victory will not only make Uganda proud but also attract more tourists to our culturally rich nation."

As the savory aroma of Mama D's delectable creations wafts through the air, Ahuma Benjamin Ernest, a close friend, describes these dishes as more than just meals; they are a pathway to greatness.

"This ice," notes Ahuma, pointing to a refreshing respite, serves as a cooling sanctuary for the tireless chef, who has garnered online attention with the trending hashtag #MamaDsWorldRecord."

Social media influencer Eddie Ntege, known as Eddie Pages on Twitter, emphasizes his contribution to the cause, saying,"I've supported this freely for a bigger cause, beyond monetary influence."

In an exclusive statement, Lily Ajarova emphasizes her role in witnessing history unfold, stating,"I am here to be part of this redefining moment that will undoubtedly elevate Uganda as a premier tourism destination."

Mama D's culinary endurance is not without precedent; the current Guinness World Record, held by Alan Fisher, stands at an impressive 119 hours and 57 minutes.

Fisher surpassed Nigerian Hilda Baci's record of 93 hours.

Should Mama D emerge triumphant, she will join the ranks of notable Ugandans immortalized in the Guinness World Records, such as Raymond Kahuma for the world's largest Rolex and Apostle Grace Lubega for the longest continuous clapping.

As Mama D stirs her way into the history books, the rhythmic beats of music and the cheers of supportive crowds echo in the background, creating a symphony of encouragement for this culinary trailblazer.
